Four cubic metres of firewood, four men and four axes. Multidisciplinary artist Claudio Stellato and his friends explore the physical limits of the human body while constantly shaping and destroying the pile of wooden logs. La Cosa is a bordering dance, theatre and circus choreography for four men who blur and wipe the lines between a human body and natural material. It stages the connection between four characters and a giant pile of wood. Through an intense and rythmed physicality that pushes the limits of the body, the four men on stage proceed to shape and destroy the pile of wooden logs. Between chain play and ritual following, la Cosa reflects on the basic bond between man and nature.
